About me

I’m a mild-mannered IT director during the day, and committed to being passionate about sharing Christ into the lives of students all the time.

My formal education consists of a Bachelors in Computer Science and a Masters in Management, both from Georgia Tech. Not suprisingly, after that much endured pain, I have no choice but to be a rabid fan. What’s the good word?

My professional carreer started out in industrial automation and controls before moving into full time application development and eventually management. I am currently a Director of Application Development for a company that essentially processes credit card transactions.

In addition to my day job, I serve as youth minister for a new church plant in Peachtree City, Lighthouse UMC. I started out as a youth counselor, then coordinator for one of the best youth groups on the planet, Cornerstone UMC. Working with this great group of counselors, students, and a great youth minister helped my to identify a greater calling from God, and that’s how I ended up at Lighthouse. Additionally, I have worked with a core group of students and adults to present some quality skits at workship events in the southeast.

In my spare time, my hobbies include mountain biking, reading, acting and video games. I’m also currently working on getting back into SCUBA.
